Title: old anesthesia equipment
Post by: one-eyed bob on August 10, 2006, 09:40:10 PM
I frequently travel on medical mission trips. I am trying to find a set of rubber, curved, stethoscope heads for use under blood pressure cuffs. Perhaps the older physicians will remember these and find a set in the dusty unused equipment drawers. Please don't discard such items since they can still be used. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Regards, Bob

As we are in the 21st century and seeing tremendous changes in the field of anaesthesiology, why do you beg for the old dusty stethoscopes which have been discarded by our physician friends?o wonder, people like you are resposnsible for making the Anaesthesia fraternity a laughinh lot and also making a fool of yourself

Thank you for you consederate reply. When the donated equipment malfunctions we must rely on the precordial stethoscope and manual blood pressure cuff. I still examine the patient occasionally also. Regards, Bob
