Title: post propfol carpopedal spasm?

i hav had 3 patients , all in the geriatric age groups, and normocalcaemic, with normal PTH funtion undergoing surgeries under TIVA maintained on spontaneous ventilation , devloping carpopedal spasm.
in all 3 occasions the tetany remitted on its own after cessation of propofol infusion.
is there any co relation between the 2?

No there is no co relation between Propofol & carpopedal spasms
