Title: NIF and water-logged CO2 absorbent
Post by: jsdori on June 12, 2008, 12:13:52 AM
Case: spontaneously ventilating through classic LMA for digit tenolysis. During case develops generates exaggerated inspiratory effort > -10. Hear gurgling in CO2 canister; drain the basic liquid, and effort normalizes.

Does anyone understand why this causes resistance to inspiration?
