I am interested in developing policies for a variety of emergent intra-operative failure scenarios.  My goal it to provide direction for both clinical and technical personnel (and thus create a feeling of control and confidence in both camps).

Policy targets:
1) Intra-operative ventilator failure
2) Intra-operative monitoring failure
3) Line isolation monitor alarm
4) Other ideas from this forum...

The goal is to create policies that are general enough to be used with any equipment at any facility, but with enough content to be useful.

Does anyone have policies like this in place that they would be willing to share?
Any ideas for content?
Does anyone have ideas for other policies not mentioned above?
