Title: postoperative visual disturbances after spinal anaesthesia
Post by: georgen on July 15, 2013, 01:36:59 PM
I gave spinal anaesthesia  to a 36 year old undergoing caeserian section. 25 gauge needle used.  Intra-operative single episode of hypotension managed with ephedrine. Postoperative patient developed post-spinal headache which was managed conservatively but lasted up to 5th day postoperative.  After the headaches resolved patient now complains of diplopia. Any ideas what is going on? I asked patient to come back for CT Scan but seems unwilling.
