My 6 1/2 week pregnant wife and I have a pre-op scheduled tommorrow to discuss a colonscopy. I'm very concerned about the risks of this operation, and have no real knowledge on the dangers of anesthetics being used on a pregnant woman. Does anyone have any insight on this?
its mostly done under local anesthesia.
