Title: Replacement for Baxter-Bard Syringe Pump
Post by: yoopertim on April 03, 2012, 03:59:40 PM
Has anyone found a comparable replacement for the Baxter-Bard syringe pump?  Baxter will not service these pumps as of Dec. '12.  I am looking for a syringe pump that is closest in design/simplicity as the Baxter pump.  If anyone has any leads, please send them on.

Thanks,

We use the Alaris system.  It is a little more complicated and had a learning curve, but once you know the pump is does everything you want it to do.  However, I agree with you that when it comes to syringe pumps, simple is a good thing.

The Baxter InfusO.R. is my favorite. Always had issues with line occlusion with the A550. I also agree that simple is better and less programming is preferred.
